The FCA has issued an update on the number of firms authorised under AIFMD. Of an estimated 800 firms that will need to be authorised, 37 Full Scope UK AIFMs and 147 Small AIFMs have been approved to date. Only two depositaries, INDOS Financial and Northern Trust, have been authorised. Pleased to see one INDOS client in the Full Scope AIFM list of firms.
