Bill Prew is the Founder and CEO of INDOS Financial. Bill is a qualified accountant, with over 23 years’ financial services experience, starting his career in 1993 in the investment management division of Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC).

After 7 years with PwC in London and Sydney, working with a broad range of financial services clients, he helped to establish an email technology company, before returning to financial services and joining Barclays Global Investors in 2002. At BGI, Bill served as European Chief Financial Officer and then Head of Supplier Management, with responsibility for the management and oversight of BGI’s European outsourced supplier relationships, providing custody, fund accounting, transfer agency and client reporting services to over 2,000 accounts and $620bn of traditional long-only and alternative funds.

In December 2007, Bill joined Moore Capital Management to support the spin-out of the management of the $3.5bn Moore Credit Fund to James Caird Asset Management, a Hedge Fund manager with offices in London and New York. During his time at JCAM, he was responsible for a range of operational areas including finance, legal, compliance, product control, investment operations, fund accounting and technology.

On leaving JCAM in December 2012 to focus full time on AIFMD and the development of the INDOS business, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer. Bill is a recognised independent expert on AIFMD and funds oversight, has presented at many industry events and been published widely in the industry press.

Des Quigley is a non-executive director of a number of investment funds and financial services companies. He has held a number of senior positions with accountancy firms over the past 30 years, focussing on clients in the financial services sector, prior to retiring in 2010.

From 1995 to 2010, he was head of the Financial Services Group at Ernst & Young in Ireland, covering Asset Management, Banking and Insurance Business. His clients were mostly in Asset Management and he was a founding member (and past Chairman) of the E&Y Global Hedge Fund Committee.

Prior to this, from 1988 to 1994, Mr Quigley served two terms as Managing Partner of Ernst & Young in Ireland, during which time he was also a member of the Ernst & Young International Council.

Before that, he was appointed as a partner of Ernst & Whinney in Ireland in 1977. Mr Quigley is a chartered accountant and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Alan Davies is Managing Director based in London.

Alan joined INDOS in April 2020 and is responsible for service delivery across each of the firm’s service lines.

Prior to joining INDOS, Alan was a Director of SS&C Depositary Services from 2014 to 2019, responsible for the growth and management of depositary services to SS&C fund administration clients.

Prior to SS&C, Alan was Head of Client Services at HSBC Trustee & Depositary Services (TDS), and prior to that, Senior Consultant, Derivatives & Risk Management in TDS.

Alan has over 15 years depositary experience and is a former Chair of the Depositary and Trustee Association (DATA). He is currently the chair of the DATA Affiliate Group for depositaries operating under AIFMD regulations.

Alan has also worked in various areas at HSBC years including positions at HSBC Investment Management and HSBC’s Market Risk Control. He also held positions at S G Warburg Securities and Lloyds Bank Overseas Division.

Padhraic McLaughlin joined INDOS from Citi Hedge Fund Services, where most recently he was Fund Accounting Manager with responsibility for managing onshore and offshore teams, client service contact and overall Fund Accounting Operations management. Padhraic started his career with GAM Fund Management in May 2000, working on mutual funds in a valuations role.

He moved to Hemisphere Management Ireland Limited in 2002, which later became Bisys Hedge Fund Services and subsequently Citi Hedge Fund Services. During his career, he has gained extensive experience in all aspects of fund accounting and transfer agency functions. Padhraic holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from Letterkenny Institute of Technology.

Micheal joined INDOS from International Fund Services (IFS), a division of State Street AIS, where he held the position of Senior Associate in their Hedge Fund administration department. Micheal was involved in servicing one of their largest clients, with over 140 alternative investment funds under administration, across a wide range of fund structures.

Prior to joining IFS, Micheal spent over 9 years at BNY Mellon in varying fund accounting roles, servicing both traditional long-only and alternative funds. Micheal has a degree in Economics and History from University College Dublin.

Andrew Watson is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) with over 14 years’ experience within the private equity and financial services industries. Andrew started his career in 1999 with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Audit, working across a variety of Banking and Capital Markets clients.

In 2003, Andrew joined the European private equity team at Bank of America as Financial Controller. During 2006, he stayed with the team through a successful spin-off process to form Argan Capital, an independent European mid-market private equity fund. At Argan, he had a wide range of responsibilities including compliance, tax and accounting.

In 2011, Andrew moved to Belfast to take up a role with the Heritage group, a financial services provider, initially as a senior fund accountant. He subsequently moved into the role of senior depositary officer, where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of AIFMD depositary clients. Andrew has a degree in Mathematics from Edinburgh University.

Nicola  Harte has over 13 years’ experience in the alternatives fund administration and middle office services industry. She joined INDOS from Equinoxe AIS Malta Ltd (now part of Apex Fund Services), in January 2017. At Equinoxe from 2013 to 2016, Nicola worked in the middle office and asset manager consulting division, where she implemented and supported new front, middle and back office systems for alternative investment managers.

Prior to Equinoxe, from 2005 to 2015, Nicola worked for Citibank Europe plc, in Waterford, Ireland, initially joining as fund accountant before promotion to senior fund accountant and finally account manager, a position she held for 3.5 years, a role which involved servicing Citibank’s range of alternative investment funds. Prior to Citibank, she worked with Northern Trust in Dublin from 2004 to 2005. Nicola has a BSc degree in Finance from University College Cork.

Emmet Jackson joined INDOS from Equinoxe Alternative Investment Solutions (Ireland) Ltd., where he most recently held the position of Group Manager within Fund Accounting; prior to transferring back to Dublin, he worked as Head of Operations for Investor Services in their Bermuda office.

Emmet started his career in June 2000 with Fortis Fund Services, before moving to International Fund Services (IFS), a division of State Street AIS. In 2004, he joined Tranault Fund Services, which later became JP Morgan Hedge Fund Services, holding the position of Group Manager within Portfolio Accounting.

In 2010, Emmet worked for JP Morgan Australia in their Sydney office as a Compliance Analyst, before joining Equinoxe in 2011. He has over 18 years’ experience in Fund Administration, covering both fund accounting and investor services, and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Economics) degree from Waterford Institute of Technology.

Jon Masters is a Chartered Accountant, with over 30 years’ financial experience. He qualified with Touche Ross before joining James Capel in 1988, where he worked in operations before becoming Head of Treasury, helping to establish the HSBC Investment Bank.  In 1999, he moved to the Treasury Management team at Lehman Brothers, where he was responsible for Network management and Cash management.

In 2004, he joined the Executive office to focus on senior client relationship management, working under Xavier Rolet. The team focused on the firm’s top clients in the Asset Management sector, covering Hedge Funds and large Institutions. In 2008, Jon became COO at Northwood Capital, a Hedge Fund, and one of his clients, also specialising in compliance and risk management.

Following the closure of Northwood, he joined Sciens Group as Head of Compliance, before moving to INDOS in 2017.

Abi Holland is the firm’s Head of Client Relationship Management.

Prior to joining INDOS in 2019, Abi was a member of the senior management team at London-based alternative investment manager, Stratton Street Capital where she was responsible for compliance, legal and operations. At Stratton Street she also Chaired the Risk Committee, implemented MiFID I/ II and AIFMD, and managed all aspects of the investor due diligence process and service provider oversight.

Abi has an Honours degree in Law and qualified as an SFA Securities Representative in 1996.

Beata Radaviciute-Chander is responsible for INDOS’s finance, administration and compliance functions. She joined INDOS in 2016 from Chimera Partners, where, since 2011, she was responsible for compliance, finance, investment analysis and support, and company secretary. Beata is the firm’s Compliance Officer (CF10), Money Laundering Reporting Officer (CF11) and CASS Oversight Officer (CF10a).

Prior to Chimera, Beata held accounts positions within the UK and in Lithuania. She is a qualified accountant, and holds a professional BSc in Accounting, Management and Business Administration from the Kaunas College, University of Applied Sciences, Lithuania. She is also a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT), the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI), and has completed the Oxford Chicago Valuation Programme at the University of Oxford, SAID Business School.

Elaine Breen joined INDOS at the end of April 2020 from  BlackBee Investments where she held the position of General Counsel. Prior to this, Elaine worked in IFG Group PLC and Willis for over 8 years having held several senior roles such as Senior In- House Counsel, Head of Compliance, Chief Risk Officer and Company Secretary.

Elaine is a qualified Solicitor in Ireland with the Law Society of Ireland and in England & Wales under the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Her qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Business & Law, LLB (Hons), Diploma in Trusts & Estate Planning, a Diploma in Commercial Property, Diploma in Commercial Contracts and a Masters in Law (LLM, Practitioner) and Certificates in International Risk Management & Compliance.

She was a member of the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Committee for the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association for many years, a member of the In-House Legal Committee for the Southern Law Association. and is also a member of the Association of Compliance Officers of Ireland and International Risk Managers.

Elaine is a member of the Judging Panel for the International Women in Compliance Awards, the Irish Early Career Awards and is also an assessor for the Good Governance Awards for the not-for-profit sector.

Elaine is a voluntary member for various committees within the Credit Union sector, and was appointed to the Board of Management in late 2019 for her former secondary school.

As Head of ESG Services, Victoria is responsible for the management and development of INDOS’ independent ESG oversight and related services.

Victoria is a Certified Chartered Accountant, with 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Victoria is based in the firm’s London office.

Prior to joining INDOS, Victoria was Head of Depositary and Post-Trade Compliance services for SS&C Technologies where she worked for six years. Prior to SS&C, Victoria  held senior roles within AXA Investment Manager, BNY Mellon and the audit practice of Kingston Smith. Victoria has also conducted bespoke projects, including working with Fundsmith to assist with their oversight and  supplier governance framework for the Equity Fund when it launched in 2011.

Victoria served for 6 years as the Deputy Chair of the ACCA Women’s Network and is a member of the Advisory Board of GirlsTalkLondon, an award-winning organisation that connects women with businesses to empower them to develop the skills and confidence to succeed in work and life.

In addition to being a Certified Chartered Accountant, Victoria holds an Msc in Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brookes University and the Investment Operations Certificate awarded by the CISI.  Victoria is currently studying for the CFA UK ESG Certificate.

Matthew Querée is the head of INDOS MLRO services and is based in the firm’s London office. Matthew has over 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry, with extensive experience in wealth management, corporate governance and fund administration spanning multiple fund sectors such as Private Equity (Primary / Secondary / Fund of Funds), Distressed Debt, Hedge Funds and Managed Accounts.

Matthew’s experience includes AML/KYC/Customer Due Diligence (CDD) requirements for a wide and varied selection of individual and institutional investors.

Prior to joining IFL, Matthew worked with regulated firms such as Allied Irish Bank (AIB), Coutts & Co, Aztec Group, and more recently Triton Partners, where he was the appointed head administrator for distressed debt and hedge funds.

Matthew is a qualified Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), a full member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (MCSI), a qualified International Trust and Estate Planning Practitioner (TEP), holds a Certificate in Offshore Finance and Administration (ICSA CERT) and a 1st Class Bachelor of Science Degree in Management (BSc Hons).

Orla joined INDOS in January 2020, and is responsible for HR and People Development.

Orla holds an Honours Degree in Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin, a Prof. Dip in Creativity, Innovation and Leadership from University College Dublin, is a Certified Mediator and Member of the Mediator’s Institute of Ireland, and is currently undertaking an MSc in Work and Organisational Behaviour.

Orla has almost 20 years’ experience within the Hedge and Financial Services Industry, her most recent position being Assistant Vice President with International Fund Services (IFS), a division of State Street AIS.

During her time in Fund Accounting at IFS, she was responsible for servicing a number of US and European clients across a wide range of fund structures.

Emily Mackay is the head of the INDOS Fareham office and operational centre for private equity and real estate fund oversight. Emily is a qualified chartered accountant with over 12 years’ experience gained in accounting and audit roles.

Prior to joining INDOS, Emily worked for six years in fund administration at Anson Administration (now part of the JTC Group) as Finance Manager servicing real estate, hedge funds, aircraft leasing debt and private equity funds. Emily has also worked as Chief Financial Officer for a start-up venture. and is an Adviser to the Audit Committee for a UK listed fund in the alternatives sector.

Emily has a degree in Accounting from Cardiff University.

Victoria Harvey is a Depositary Manager in the Fareham office.

Victoria is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) with 14 years’ experience gained in fund administration and audit roles. Victoria joined INDOS from the Maples Group, Cayman where she held the position of Vice President in Client Accounting, predominantly preparing financial statements for various fund structures and special purpose vehicles.

Victoria trained with Smith & Williamson in audit, and later joined Grant Thornton in the Cayman Islands, working across fund and insurance captive markets as an audit manager.

Victoria has a degree in Italian Studies from the University of Bristol.

Mark Drennan is a Manager in the INDOS Ireland office. Mark has over 11 years’ experience in Fund Administration and Investor Services. Siobhán Murphy is a Manager in the INDOS Ireland office. Siobhán has over 12 years’ experience in financial services industry.  Siobhán joined INDOS from State Street where she held the position of senior associate in the financial reporting department.

Prior to joining State Street, Siobhán spent 8 years with Citibank Europe plc and Deutsche Bank in various fund accounting  roles servicing a range of alternative investment funds.

Siobhán holds a Bachelor of Business studies Degree (Accounting & Finance) from Sligo Institute of Technology.
